Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) Training

Meaningful Outcomes staff are required to complete an annual FWA training. This training offers an overview of the definitions, examples, reporting requirements to ensure compliance with Federal Medicaid Program Integrity requirement and Rhode Island EOHHS standards. 

Who Must Complete

  • Clinical Staff (Behavior Technicians, RBTs, BCBAs)

  • Supervisors and Clinical Leadership

  • Administrative Staff involved in documentation, billing, or compliance

Frequency

  • At hire

  • Annually thereafter

Important:

  • Completing this training is mandatory, even if you have attested already this year.

  • Please note that you may be asked to produce proof you received the training, so this documentation should be kept on file.

  • Employees must formally attest to completing this training.

  • Training will not be considered complete without a submitted attestation, even if the material has been viewed.

By completing the attestation, the individual confirms that they:

  • Have reviewed the Meaningful Outcomes FWA training in full

  • Understand their responsibility to comply with all FWA requirements

  • Will uphold ethical and compliant practices in service delivery

  • Will educate and ensure compliance among any staff they supervise or oversee
